Oxford Professor who could not possibly understand Zoroastriansm

I just bought the book by Martin West on Hymns of Zoroaster, I started to read the introduction, and after a while I just dried up. Something inside me said, watch out. I loved the fact that here was a person who had seriously tried to understand the works of Zoroaster. He had methodically gone through it all with a microscope. He seemed to be so mathematical and methodical. I did not feel anything in his writings. I did not know who he was or anything. I thought, "well just read his thoughts, and see where it takes you". I dried up. Zoroaster was screaming at me, look up his date of birth. I found a wikipedia on him 23 September 1937. Ouch. The man has Jupiter in Capricorn and Saturn in Aries, with Uranus in Taurus. That is three of the worst. Then I saw all his works on Greek stuff. Hey, it does not take a genius to figure out that this guy is all out there to not be connected to the spirit of Zoroaster. And yet he still manages to be very complimentary. So I thought of this, that if this cynic can be impressed by Zoroaster, then no one should complain. No wonder this guy could not understand any of the more Astrological connotations. Well he is a big gun at Oxford. But then those guys know jack shit about Astrology and would hate to even to discuss it. Had to get that off my chest. Yuk!

Sometimes when you look at a date, you struggle to see anything simply strong that could perhaps explain so much about a person or in this case a country. Iran's history makes fascinating reading. I am not going to go into all that. But for the sake of sharing it is important that the world sees this.

Look at the top wheel, look at the beautiful opposition made by the Sun-Uranus conjunction and the Full Moon-Jupiter-Neptune. Then we have a beautiful Grand Trine. Beautifully energetic, and the history of Iran following this moment is proof.

Astrology of UK's short lived Government of 2010

I was just watching a picture of David Cameron shaking Queen Elizabeth's hand, and in the back ground was a clock showing the time at 20:14. So I will add a minute and above is the GMT chart.

As you can see the Sun is in the 7th House of partnership, and is in Taurus. The ruler of Taurus is Venus, and that is in Gemini. And what can be more benefiting of this partnership government. But Mars in the 9th forms stressfull aspect. The Moon is at the last part of its cycle, and that only means that this government is not going to hold. Once the Moon is in the New Moon phase and UK will abandon this government.

The main source of all the tensions at the moment is the famous T-square being formed between Pluto, Uranus, Saturn and Jupiter, and Venus which the ruler of the chart is very much stressed. So the women in Parliament will create a stink. Gemini rules the press and the media, and there is going to be no harmony there.

Tough times ahead for this short lived government.

For many years, I have been looking at charts of ancient Iran, such as the moment Cyrus the Great gave his benevolent speech at Babylon, and the moment he became Emperor, and recently when Reza Shah became king or when Iran's 1906 constitution was created. I never knew this date though.
Once and for all it explains why we are in the mess we are in.

Wow I must say. It all makes sense. All the other charts were as if designed by Astrologers. We know that Astrologers were involved in the ancient times, even in picking the time of battles, so that the better man win in the eyes of the Gods. We know that Astrologers were involved with Reza Khan's Coronation.

But alas no Astrologer would have picked this date for MRP. You do not pick the years when Saturn is in Aries. You do not pick the year when Jupiter is in Virgo or the month when Venus is Virgo with Pluto and Uranus to contend with when the chart progresses.

And when Venus did progress to conjunct Pluto and Uranus, and Saturn's transit went through Virgo, you had the revolution in 1979. It is that simple.

And look at it now with Saturn in Virgo, we have the same situation. The charts are all linked in many ways of course, and there are links to the older charts. A good Astrologer can connected them all very easily to weave the correct timelines for Iran.

In fact Khomeini, who was an Astrologer did pick a potent moment for his return and we all know that chart.
The Aquarian energy has been very vibrant with the stellum there.

Head of the Elections Headquarters Kamran Daneshjoo told reporters Saturday morning that 35,268 ballot boxes had been counted until 5:50 am which were 77.13 percent of the total boxes. ... According to Daneshjoo, out of 28,050,761 counted votes, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has got 18,302,924 votes which constitutes
65.24 percent of the total counted votes.

It looks to me like this chart was designed by many astrologers. All the simple aspects are there. We have the famous Moon Neptune Jupiter conjunction, and then the trine to the Sun, that is just out of the 7 degree range. But look at the unfortunate placing of Jupiter and Neptune on the MC. The stubborness theme continues with so many fixed signs, of Taurus which link to the Royal Chart, and Aquarius which links to the Revolution chart. With Gemini rising and Sun on the Ascendant coexistance with its neighbours as a twin state is in the making. But there is a T-square that will challenge it against foreign interference. Saturn in the fourth will strengthen nationalism, against the Uranus in 10th.

So we Iranians have a man who is very much in tune with us, and can deal with all those awkward Aquarian Seyyed chart energies.

The Eclipses and battles that lost Iran

Oh wow what a day. Here I was writing these two articles, talking about the Shah leaving Iran on 16th January 1979, and my birthday being on 16th of January 1957, and then about Islam and its relationship with Eclipses. Then I thought of looking into the last event that lost Iran, just like we did when the Shah left. Many saw this at the point of no return.

Ask any Iranian about when he we lost Iran, and he will tell you it happened for the first time at the battle of Nahavand. So I thought I would look at the table of Eclipses. The battle took place late in 641 AD, but I am again startled by the fact that there was an Eclipse so close to Iran on January 17th 641 AD.

Finally there is another pretty good correlation. The previous battle to Nahavand, and the one that actually lost the southern part of Iran, was the battle of Qaddasiyah in 637. It is interesting to see how the Eclipse of March 21 638 as shown above changed Iran dramatically for good (actually bad). Remember that Iranian New Year is around March 21st or the Spring Equinox. And it could be argued that one really does have a powerful moment when you get the Eclipse happening on the Vernal Equinox. Well it did over the last Empire of the civilized world.

What happened to the world afterwards is well documented, but basically we lost culture for dogma. All books and art were burnt to the sake of a new world order. Look at the Horoscope for that date. Jupiter in Gemini, which is why we have two religions square Mars and exhalted Venus conjunct that get their good political vibes from exhalted Uranus on the IC, with Pluto so close to MC in Taurus bringing destruction to wealth of Iran.

Wow, I am really discovering things today, of explosive nature. "Ruffle feathers this will", as Yoda says. Follow the link in the heading. You will see photograph of the 173rd American Astronomical Society. On the right hand at 19.05 you will see an article by I.A. Ahmad regrading Muhammad's (Halabi Al-Qureshi or Koreshi) how he saw a Solar Eclipse on January 22nd 632 AD. Well, look at the Solar Eclipse maps of 621-640 AD at this link and you will see that the actual date was Jan 27th 632, and he died later that year on June 8th 632. Yazdigerd III, the last Emperor of Iran's coronation was in the same year. On the same map you can see that there was another over Arabia on 01 June 634. The amazing story that we hear is that this was some sort of a miracle; that he turned day into night. There weren't any Total Eclipse at that time. Now if you click on this link you will see all the Eclipses for all time, and in particular this one, is the table to look at if you are into ancient Iranian history from 1AD to 1000 AD or as they put it 0001 CE to 1000 CE. Look at the dates of major changes in Iran or Persia, and you can see some interesting correlations. So what I wanted to see was that, was there a major solar eclipse over Iran when Iran changed from Zoroastrianism to Islam. The date that is normally chosen is 642 AD. There is one for 6th November 644 AD which is annual that starts in Scandinavia goes across East Europe and the totality is Turkey, and then goes to rest of the Middle East. Then there is a total eclipse on 21 April 646 AD starting in West Africa and the totality is in Turkey and then goes all the way across Russia to China. Finally take a look at this page where you see the history of mankind and solar eclipses.

2010 Eclipse over Iran

There is a great site for eclipses. Click the title to see the image I am referring to. I went through all the solar eclipses, trying to see whether there are any going over Iran. Well there is one on January 15 2010. Now why I find that fascinating is that, it happens to be very close to the day the Shahanshah of Iran left Iran. If you had to choose a moment that is very important to Iran's history, it is the moment the Shah of Iran left Iran. So what happens when there is a Solar Eclipse over that date. A new good radical start, that's what it means, with the great aspect to Uranus, and the prominent harmonic being 5. Whether I am just dreaming all this up, could well be the case, as the date is my birthday as well, and with my Pisces Ascendant, I can get dellusional to say the least. Nevertheless I feel compelled to share it, as my North Node is exactly trine with my Ascendant in Scorpio making a Grand Sextile, with all the other aspects in 16/01/1957. I feel, and many like me feel our paths are tied to these events.

Not many people know that Iranians lived much further north than where Iran is now.

The Story begins twenty thousand years ago, in an age shrouded in the mystery of time. An Age of Heroism, an age of strength and unbridled courage when men as strong as lions and women as pure as moonlight waged war against evil and fought for the welfare of their race and children.

At this time, the world was almost uninhabited. Except for a few savage tribes in Africa and India, the earth lay barren. It was the breeding place of dangerous animals and untamed jungle lands and deserts where no human could survive.

And yet, amazingly, there was one place on earth that was peopled. The very top of the world, the North Arctic region; was populated by a race of people who proudly called themselves, the Aryans. By this they meant simply, the Pure and the Noble On es. They formed the first civilised nation in the history of the world.

This is an extract of the very old part of Iranian history, which predates the birth of Zoroaster by 8000 years. Zoroaster was born in 17th Century BC. So you need to look at the period that the world existed between the last two mini ice ages. The geological evidence supports this.

It is just amazing how the authorities in Iran cannot even get the exact time of the Vernal Equinox right. It is at 08:18:36 AM in Iran on Thursday the 20th of March. This is a scientific fact. They always start it 17 seconds too soon at 08:18:19 AM Teheran time. Why I do not know.

Now it is not very often that you get Mars opposite Pluto square Sun on the Equinox, following a partial Eclipse over Iran the month before. And never mind the awful aspects of Saturn to Venus and Mercury.

Big changes are afoot in Iran. And about time too. It has taken too long to get this kind of change.

Iranian Leap Years

Leap years and the Iranian Calendar. It is very with the internet, how one stumbles across sites, even though one thinks we know it all. Anyway I just came across this piece:

In the year 1006 CE, the first day of the Zoroastrian year (Noruz) occupied once again its original position at the vernal equinox. (Incidentally, this would imply that the Zoroastrian calendar originated in 500 BC or so.) It was then decided to intercalate a whole month every 120 years, to make the long-term average of the Zoroastrian year equal to 365¼ days, and avoid calendar creep with the exact same accuracy as the Julian calendar (in the long run, at least). This unusual intercalation scheme may have been chosen for religious reasons, which made it difficult to have anything but 5 gatha days at the end of every year.

Hmmm... Not quite there, but here is what I know of the Iranian calendar and its system. I do not know what the Seyyeds have done since, but it should be just a little different than the Julian one in one respect. That difference is the fact that every 7 leap years or every 28 years, or every time that Saturn returns, we get another day added on, to make the calendar lose only one day every 15000 years or so, instead of 5000 years for the Julian one.

The roots of Christmas are from Iran. The Iranian Astrologers understood the cycles of the planets, and knew of the famous delineation at 3BC, and Christ was seen as one of the Sayoshants.

In most ancient cultures, including Persia, the start of the solar year has been marked to celebrate the victory of light over darkness and the renewal of the Sun.

As expected many in the world still do not appreciate the Astrological connection of this so ancient festival. And Yalda becomes Yuletide, which is also known as the celebration of logs. The exact moments is known just Nowrooz or the Spring Equinox. But Iranians do not look at this festival that way, so much as the dualistic nature of light, as Sa'adi says below.

Because Shab-e Yalda is the longest and darkest night, it has come to symbolise many things in Persian poetry; separation from a loved one, loneliness and waiting. After Shab-e Yalda a transformation takes place - the waiting is over, light shines and goodness prevails.

Saturn has been going through the sign of Leo for a while now, and all the frustrating affairs ruled by the sun sign Leo are being influenced. Look at the property market. How frustrating has that been for the Americans, as the good old Saturnian reality check has finally hit them. In fact it is not just their banks but foreign banks. Below are the coordinates of the planets and Moon for this time next year when the Olympics start in China. As Astrologers we are always intriguied when people use certain criterion other than Astrology to start an event.

Over the years so many people have told me "China this ... China that", and I am cynical. I really do not think that Chinese Astrology even gets close to proper Astrology. It is basically childish. I call Chinese Astrology "Big Mac" Astrology. One needs to have acurrate measurements and understanding. Forget animals etc etc.

Anyway I was looking at CNN and realised that the Chinese dictators have used the one year countdown to create a massive gathering. Where did they get all that energy from (free oil from Seyyeds). Anyway I thought I would look at the planets' positions on 08:08:2008.

You do not need to be amazingly gifted to see the rather bad day that day is. So much for number 8. Load of bullocks. Moon is in Scorpio, the worst position. Mercury in Leo, the worst position, Venus is in Virgo, the worst position. Sun conjunct South Node, not easy. Jupiter in Capricorn, the worst position. Mars opposite Uranus, stressfull.

It is a nightmare. The funny part is that the Olympics organization have been running ahead of time. The dictators in China have pushed the construction so efficiently that it is way way ahead of schedule.

It can only go wrong. The Spirit will not be with the dictators. Expect a massive flop.

For so long snobbish Iranians, Indians, Chinese have thought that it was the Babylonians, Sumerians, and other places in the world that lay claim to ancient wisdom.

Well forget it, and unlearn what the Old Testament, Torah, Veda, or whatever book you read and believe in. This is the truth. The ancient people of what we now call Armenia knew it all. Or maybe as I feel, and it is only my own hunch, the ancient Astronomers of the world, used the high mountains there to build the world first observatroy.

We in Iran have a place called Takhte Taqdis, or the Throne of Solomon, that was the awesome structure of its time, as it moved around and tracked the stars, and moreover was unconquerable. The army of Salman Parsi, (who is the father of Islam), had to poison the rivers to it for three months to get hold of the Astrologers. Later they changed the name to Throne of Solomon.

So folks, as many people suspect, the history of the world centred around Western Asia, and many many more finds, especially those that were buried with soil to preserve them, become uncovered. We even have spectacular events like Earthquakes popping ancient ruins out of the ground. So yes the past Astrologers were far far cleverer than any religious bigot that they saw coming. Then there is the famous Gautama Buddha as mentioned in Wiki:

Sometimes Astrological charts of the moment of the announcement of Presidency indicate the real future. So I thought of looking into the moment of announcement of N Sarkozy at 17:40 GMT. Today's chart, and in fact the alignments of planets lately, have been dominated by the conjunctions of Mars and squaring of Mars to Uranus and Jupiter. Uranus rules politics and we have had so many elections haven't we in the past two weeks.

If you plot the time NS was announced President of France, you will see that the Sun and Mercury which are conjunct in the 7th house of Law and Order. And is it not a surprise to find that this is just what NS wants to impose. I look at the 10th house of rulership of the chart, and I see Leo with Saturn there. Wow that makes it very tough to govern and Saturn is making a very awkward aspect to Sun and Mercury and Neptune the ruler of the fifth that has the clue to this Presidency. We see North Node Uranus and Mars there. Fifth is the house of the ruler as a King, and it is telling me it is the opposition that rules France. What, how whacky is that? Go figure, but I see more riots and law and order for France.

There is a lot more to this chart, and if you look at the Jupiter you will see it in the second house, and so the wealth of the country, banks are in good order. You see that Venus is in 8th and that helps its finances as well. But look at the how both Moon and Pluto are at odds with Venus, again pointing to the role of women as a productive engine in France, versus male chauvanism with the awkward aspect Venus makes to Mars.

So I do not really see him holding his position for very long. Au Revoir, it was short and very sweet. France is split, and I am happy. Personally I do not like the way they changed the regime in Iran and brought Khomeini in, and it is pay back time for them. This timing of the election maybe is the sign of the future for France. But maybe this political view clouds my vision. I have to be honest.

One of the people who has a lot of clout in the world and of course in Middle East, is Robert Fisk. In fact, this sort of a person, is what runs the world. Presidents and Emperors come and go, and correspondents, with their false modesty, live on. In most cases they create the environment for removing rulers of countries. If there was one person who had the Midas Touch of correspondents, that could shape the outlook of Arabs, Jews, Seyyeds, oh the list is endless, even Bin Laden, it is this guy Robert Fisk. But I have never liked him. And I am not the only one. And you know how it is, when you get emotional about anything, Life has a way of bringing to your attention. So I stumbled over his recent article, and I had a couple of minutes to search for his date of birth, and it turn out, his lordship was born 17th August 1943. That gives the following Astrological positions. Sun at 23 Leo, Moon in around 19 Pisces, Mercury 17 Virgo, Venus 20 Virgo, Mars 25 Taurus, Jupiter 10 Leo, Saturn 24 Gemini, Uranus 8 Gemini, Neptune 00 24 Libra, Pluto 7 Leo, North Node 16 Leo. If you look up the definitions of these, you will get the most basic descriptions. I noticed right away Saturn, and Uranus in Gemini making awkward aspects to Moon, Venus, Mercury, Neptune, and Mars making a very awkward aspect to Sun. Gemini makes him a correspondent. Virgo makes him a cynic, and all that dry sarcasm and sticker for detail and fussyness. He will be the one to find that one thing wrong and use it for a political comment won't he. But he is a giant of a man with a sense of what the public wants having Jupiter there with Pluto, North Node and the Sun. But he is stubborn with that Mars in Taurus. And if anyone knows him tell him to watch out this year with Saturn going over all this. And as I type I hear the song "Trouble" on the chillradio by Ray Lamontague. Call it coincidence. So I ask you RF. Do me a favour, write about Iranian Non Violent Resistance as a path for peacefull change. Stop finding differences in people. Stop dividing people in Middle East. Do this or get hit by Saturn. All the best.

With the advent of the Spring Equinox in Northern Hemisphere, we all celebrate the main concept of Zoroastrianism, namely the individual's Free Will to choose between two forces that influence our lives.

Unlike what you read most of the time, you should know that Iranians were Cosmologists. Zoroaster believed in logic and saw Man determining his or her own Life according the choice he or she made.

We all have choices to make every day. Life is a market. Yes like a stock market, there are ebbs and flows. Variety and change is all around us, only as an individual can we decide for ourselves what we want.

Now today, Nowrooz is the moment when the Light and Darkness are balanced. It is also connected to all of other Cosmological principles that Iranians knew way back then.

These principles are now referred to as 'Scientific', but they were part and parcel of every day life in Iran. The calendar is named according to constellations. The calendar is the most accurate in the world.

With such concepts the Iranians went about their lives improving their life on Earth. They refuted dogma and there was nothing but Life for them. Questions that were not practical were deemed to be waste.

And so the process of Thinking, followed by Communicating and collaborating, and finally the practical application of that original thought was the most important part of the process. This is a materialistic, or Scientific approach to build and civilize.

A word of caution. There is quite a difference between this form of Zoroastrianism compared to other forms. This form is called Dualistic Zoroastrianism. The most common form is monotheistic Zoroastrianism, because most of the literature was written by younger religions that have concepts like heaven and hell and devils and prophets.

These religions nevertheless found that Zoroaster held to certain 'Ideals' that could be regarded as monotheistic rituals of Zoroastrians which is a continual bone of contention between one branch of Zoroastrianism and another. After all Zoroaster contribution to Zoroastrianism is just one book of the many books that make the Zend-Avesta called the Ghatha. Monotheistic Zoroastrians disregard most of the Zend-Avesta as they believe in Zoroaster and his own teaching. Ironically he is regarded by Semitic religions as the first person to preach monotheism.

Of interest is the idea that most of this thought developed after the birth of Semitic Prophets when Iran was dominated by Islamic Theocracy. Most present day Parsis and Iranian Zoroastrians say that this reform was necessary or be totally wiped out by monotheistic religions.

Lack of Astrological knowledge and the Iranian Calendar

The Iranian Calendar is the most accurate Calendar in the world, because the Iranians take into consideration the little bit of unaccounted minutes that the Gregorian Calendar leaves behind, after a day has been added every four years. But then the Iranian Cosmologists make a big mistake. I am not there, and I am not able to teach them the Astrological meanings. So if you know anyone there, get them to see this and maybe they will understand the Astrology and then adjust the Calendar accordingly.

In this article the author states:

A natural solar year is neither 365 days nor 366. It is something like 365 days, 5 hours and 49 minutes. While for westerners, the new year begins at midnight, for us there is an exact time (to the seconds) worked out by astronomy which specifies the beginning of the new year. This is known as ``{tahvil-e saal}'' A solar calendar year begins at the point when the sun appears to cross the equator from the southern hemisphere to the northern hemisphere as viewed from the centre of the earth.. However, for the purposes of the calendar, a day (of 24 hours) can either belong to the past year (say, the last day of Esfand) or the new year (1st of Farvardin). So what we do is this: if the exact moment of {tahvil-e saal} is before midday (Tehran time), we regard the same day as the New Year's Day (1st Farvardin). Otherwise, the New Year begins on the following day. This has made the Jalaali calendar year much more accurate than the Gregorian one (details later).

To me what matters is that the first day has to be a full Aries day. So if the Equinox took place a minute past sunrise over the most south-eastern point of Iran then that day is still part of the previous year, because there is still a bit of Pisces in that day. So under the present system you can have up to 6 hours of Pisces in the first day of the New Year. Quite rediculous. The first proper day after the Equinox must be fully Aries. How clearer is that? And the whole idea of putting a Noon Teheran time is wrong. Anyone who has studied Astrology will tell you that the Equinox Point has special universal characteristics that the ancinet philosophers of Iran respected, that enabled such a vast empire, of such diverse people, to agree on. That point of space time has nothing to do with Iran. It is an Earthly phenomenon.

Now if you are really into maths then first of all you need to read this. Then look at what is meant by Sidereal Time and Mean Solar Time. There are different ways of measuring the exact length of time in the year. ST produces 365 days 6 hours 9 minutes 9.54 seconds, whilst MST produces 365 days 5 hours 48 minutes 45.5 seconds. The Iranians use ST and yet they are using the logic of MST. Nuts! Anyway it is even funnier. Let's just do a little explanation. Bascially you have every four years, another 1 hour and 9 seconds and 0.54 seconds extra to deal with. The Gregorian does not bother with that. But the Iranian does.

Why do you think that the Iranian Astrologers were so worried about getting this moment so right. Because the Iranians value birth as such an important phenomenon in Life. We are after all responsible for celebrating birthdays. Herodotus actually identified Iranians as odd in that respect.

So after a leap year the Iranians are worried about the 1 hour or 60 mins times 60 secs plus 9 plus 0.54 seconds, which is 3609.54 seconds, or 902.385 seconds per year. We Iranians are just not satisfied with forgetting about it. Blimey! So Omar Khayyam just had to sort it out. So he decided to find out when to add another day to make the calendar more accurate.

Well there are 86400 seconds in a day. We have to see how many 902.385 seconds goes into 86400? You get 95.746272. So every 95 years you need to add a day. But Omar Khayyam decided to add a day after 8 leap years or an extra day every 33 years in the year 1079 AD. And that is why the Iranian Calendar is more accurate than any other in the world.

But I am not totally convinced that that is the case. I think we have here a translation problem. I may seem to be diverging but it is important. If you ask an Iranian what is your birthday he was born in 1997, they will tell you that I have completed my 10th year and I am not entering my 11th year. So I think that OK was actually referring to the Saturn Cycles and he was talking of the seven years of leap years making it 28 years.

Stars will rip apart the Islamic Republic of Iran

One of the easiest ways to predict the future for someone is to look at the position of the planets on their birthday for that year. To predict the future just for this year for the Islamic Republic one needs to first of all find the appropriate date. Ask anyone, and they will tell you that it started on 11/02/1979 or 22nd of Bahman (Aquarius).

So if you go and put the date for this year, you will see if the aspects are mostly good or bad. Personally I do not like this regime, so every year I have done this, it has not really given me much to say. But this year it has. Oh boy have the Seyyeds in Iran got it coming. Of course I am a bit biased, but the aspects are mathematical, and have nothing to do with me per se.

The most obvious phenomenon taking place right now is the movement of Saturn through the sign of Leo. It has never done this whilst the mad mullahs have been around. It is right now as I write 22 degrees Leo and by the time the Sun gets to 11/02/1979 it will still be at that degree - a tiny bit less, and it makes the fantastic opposition to the birthday. Neptune is there too getting a nice dose of Saturn. Saturn is that force of Karma that will bring around all the retributions and justice to the party concerned if they have been out of line. And that is what will sort these monsters out.

But to really top it off it the fact that the Moon is also squaring both Saturn and Sun. If it is lucky Jupiter we need to look at to see if there is the slightest bit of good fortune for these weirdo, not a drop. Jupiter is making a nice square to Mercury, Venus, North Node and Uranus.

Some people ask me, where are the Astrological references in Zoroastrianism. I tell them, no thanks to the Talabinization of Iran in the 7th Century AD, we do not have the genuine texts. But later on a book called Bundahishn or The Creation Story, speaks of the formation of the constellation by Ohrmazd (The Positive Pole).

I was watching the UN live. By my count it was 11 mins to 5pm GMT today 23/12/06. The number 11 has a significance to me (and that is a whole other story). One has to be quite accurate with this one, as the Ascendant was changing very near that time. For the New York coordinates of 73W59 and 40N46 you get 0Ar44, and the MC is 00CP23. There are some very good soft aspects, especially that the parts of fortune has fallen spot on with Saturn and they are both making such great soft aspects to Pluto, North Node, Juno, and Mars, and Mercury, which means that actual implementation will be successful.

Just a moment ago the New Moon started. The worshippers of the Moon have started another month. Their calendar loses time and for all practical purposes, is wrong. There are the Hindus that celebrate their New Year from the New Moon in Scorpio, and the Chinese that celebrate their New Year with the New Moon in Aquarius, and of course the Moslems.

But the Iranian Cosmologists, Astronomers, Astrologers, were responsible for creating observatories, and following the change in the amount of light every day. They created a calendar that connected the change in daylight to the seasons. Astrologically they created what is called the Horoscope. In present day Iran the calendar is an Astrological calendar. It has withstood the test of time, and the people of Iran have four celebrations to comemorate the interplay of Light and Darkness. The Yin Yang of time, to make it clear to the Chinese folk who buy all that oil from Iran, is called the Ohrmazd-Ahriman dialectic. These are the Twin Forces that show up in all realms of Life.

Whatever you look at, the Twin Forces are at work. Look at a battery, and you see a plus at one end, and minus at the other end. Look at the sky, and you see the birds flying in pairs. Put your hand on your heart, and you hear boom-boom. Look at the days get shorter in the Northern Hemisphere of Earth, and you see the lights in the Christian world get brighter and brighter. Look at any believer in pre-Christian and pre-Islamic Iran,and they are stocking up on the huge party called Yalda, that is has been going for at least ten thousand years. We all will stay up on the longest night of the year to eat, and be merry, to show that the enthusiasm and fire within all of us humans will defeat the darkness of the longest night of the year.

But the main reason for the celebration, is to welcome the first longer day, called Yalda. And yes, it does sound similar to Yuletide, because Iranians are related to the Europeans. Modern scientists have looked at the Y Chromosones of Iranians, and they have linked us to our distant cousins. And culturally Iranians do assimalate well with our EU and American cousins. We have been very grateful for all the love and support they have given us in these difficult times.

Cyrus the Great followed and understood this form of reasoning, when he entered Babylon and released the Jews. The Magi of Iran knew this reasoning, when they saw that the ancient prophecy in ancient Iranian oracles, about the coming of Jesus Christ. It was the Iranians that gave the honour and respect first to baby Jesus. And finally it was an Iranian priest that saw the coming of the age of Pisces with the Eclipse over Medina. Salman Parsi was the Iranian that created what we now call Islam, but he believed in the Lunar calendar, burning and destroying all the creative forces of Sun worshipping Iranians. Many ancient Fire Temples were snuffed out. We must recall both the dark and the bright side as we approach Yalda.

And it is really wonderful from the first moments that the Sun rises on Yalda day. The Earth is really close to the Sun, as it is whizzing past the Sun at it fastest, and Yalda will be the first Longer day. And so Iranians call it the Birthday of Light, and the Three Wise Men knew, that Jesus Christ is the personification of the birth of Light, when the planets' inclinations were such that it looked as one big bright Star over Bethlehelm.

As an Iranian Astrologer I have always found it quite remarkable how Darius referred to Ahuramazda as a single deity under which he carried out his conquests. Darius to me then is quite different to Cyrus, who did not use theocracy, even though in Xenophon we see that Cyrus did consult the spirits.

It is then quite interesting to find that he was one of the few, if not the only person of high profile that managed to deal with the mullahs in Iran. But then the so called "reformers" decided to participate. And with the help of George W. Bush (stating that Iranians know nothing about democracy), the boycott was over.

This time the "reformers" are trying again. I just hope that the US President, or anyone else, does not become a catalyst in this illegal form of democracy.

I beg the Iranians to just laugh at these aliens. Please use this occasion to talk about boycott all the time, and show the power of boycott. A new Iranian culture is about to be born, which will be based on dialogue.

The dialogue needs to develop. It will part of a new carpet which we can all stand on. This carpet will unify Iran on the basis of the power of "inaction".

Whoever tries to rule Iran, must realize, that he or she must make Iranians excited. He or she, must inspire Iranians to participate. And at the same time, the Iranians must accept the fact that they have the power to ignore anyone, and put him or her out of office.

So please, please talk about ignoring these alien Islamist Fascists, and they will soon realize that they really do not have any power at all. The power is in the hands of all Iranians. But they must not easily give it away. Apathy is the most powerful force against the Islamist Fascists.

So everyone must talk more and more about abstention, and the power of disengagement with the illegal slave drivers in Iran. Do not become slaves to them. Ignore them, and talk about how weak they are if the silent majority decide to not work. Once the discussions start about the power of abstention from work, that will create a new extremely strong power.

The new fabric of Iran is based on the passive resistance of the people of Iran. This passive force will not budge, whatever myth is ruling Iran. Iranians do not need to go to war in the streets. No violence is required. Just tell the Islamist Fascists, that they cannot do anything, if everyone decided to stay at home.

Basically the old Iranian Calendar was 12 months of 30 days with a massive party at the end to welcome the New Year, which started exactly to the very second, the New Spring or the Spring Equinox.

The ancient Iranians timed the heavens pretty accurately, and our mathematics was second to none. The main reason was that we invented and used the number zero. In fact the oldest Iranian tribe, the Sumerians used a base 60 to have the most accurate clocks ever.

The Astrological Calendar of Iran is used today, but no thanks to the Islamists the Astrological element is missing. Ask an Iranian what his or her birthday is by the Iranian Calendar, and they might tell you 10th of Mehr Mah. But tell them that that corresponds to exactly the 10th degress of Sun sign Libra (Latin for love btw), and they would be gobbsmacked.

Anyway there is a slight quirk in the relationship between the present calendar and the 7000 year old one. This one has 6 months that are 31 one days, and five months of 30 days. Now each day in the old calendar was name after an important universal phenomenon, energy, concept. The old Iranians believed that the first day of the month belonged to the most wisest energy, and called it just that, Ohrmazd. Then the second day was used to deal the second most practical and useful concept, namely thinking well, and called it Bahman, or Aquarius or the most liberal humanistic thoughts, Astrologically catagorised under the Sun Sign Aquarius.

This process went for thirty energies or dieties. It was not polytheistic as Jews or Christian or worse still Moslem historian have interpreted. The 16th energy was called Mehr. Now the new Calendar is 31 days for the 1st 6 months and it messes up the whole day system, so that the 10th day of the new calendar corresponds to the 16th day of the old Calendar, such that the Mehr Rooz of Mehr Mah is not on the 16th of Mehr but on the 10th day of Mehr of the new calendar. And of course with the new Calendar we do not have a five day or six day bash at the end of the year.

So you need to be a bit of an Astrologer or know a bit about the world of Astrology to link your mind to the old Iranian calendar. I will let you find it out for yourself, as Life is your quest, and it is not my job to tell you that what I say is The Truth as JCM's would have you believe out of fear. Well that is true and yet very untrue.

My ancestors like many Iranians were forced to by Salman Parsi to convert, just like he did from the faith of Iran (called Zoroastrianism by the Semitic religions). In fact Iranians never called themselves Zoroastrian. They referred to the Wisdom as the Truth and Life as the material representation of the twin forces that shape everything. It is actually the root of logic, and you do not need to be an electrical engineer to know the concept of positive and negative and the resultant current flow, to understand the meaning.

And so it is that every now and then we get articles like this popping up, and the author has no idea of what is really happening in Iran. Funnily enough I just read this article, where the correspondent is confused about what is really happening to Iran.

I'll tell you what is happening in Iran. The country has found freedom and knows that this perverted belief from Qom is wrong, and that there are far better ones of our own from Yazd. The youth of Iran all know what the real Iran is, and that they have all taken Zoroastrianism on board. The problem we have at the moment though, is that the gun slingers in Jamaran are far too ready to wipe out the Zoroastrian folk in Yazd if one Iranian converts in Iran. So no one mentions that they are Zoroastrian. Wait for the Islamists to go, and you will have 60 million Zoroastrians over night.

Iranian have converted in their minds to the more personal secular philosophy of Old Iran, that the world now knows are Zoroastrianism. The Iranians abroad have actually converted explicitly like me, even though I have not changed my name. Why should I my mum gave it to me. She still believes in Islam but not the way Qom does. Iranians actually do not really know what they believe in. They all mostly in a modern form of Islam, which has nothing to do with the original. That is why the die-hards are clamping down so much.

So a new Iran with an Iranian philosophy exists in the mind of modern Iranians. And dare a westerner tell me that it is western. It is not. In fact it was the Iranian dualistic existentialism that was at the heart of modern secular movements from Hegel to Nietzsche. Hegel writes about Zurvana Akrana and we all know about Nietzsche's Also Sprach Zarathushtra don't we.

So Iran is exploding, and no one, especially the western press or the Islamist can do anything about it. The new Iran will completely change the history of the world, as it will lay claim to many of the philosophies that we righteously born in Iran and then leaked out to the west and east.

He totally disregards the 5000 years of Iranian spirit, that existed before Islam. Somehow 1400 years of Islamic attitude, has a higher moral ground than anything else. What is the solution? Let Iranians have a quite non violent regime change by writing articles about the Good Iranians, not these monsters. If you do that you will end up with an Iran that has its roots in Zoroaster and Cyrus the Great, not Islam. That is an Iran that is not threatening to anyone but big business.

Why big business? Because Iran is the best real estate in the world. It also has the youngest brightest work force right now on the planet. Iran under Iranians educated from the top universities in the world, would make Western Asia the next East Asia. And that is the last thing the multinationals want. Can you imagine "Made in Iran" on excellent products that are dirt cheap because the energy, and transportation cost are zero.

So they would rather have Mad in Iran, than Made in Iran.

And that's the bottom line.

Well not quite, the astrology dictates that we are just heating up. Mars is 9 degrees Virgo (practical force), opposing even more now, to Uranus which is at 13 Pisces (idealistic revolutionaries). Also we have Sun in Leo (Royalty) conjuct or right next to Saturn (order), and both opposing Neptune in Aquarius (political idealism). These oppositions will keep the world divided for now.

So all these disgreements make complete sense. There are much better times ahead. Hang in there Iranians and the world.
